The House Next Door
Men’s Transitional Facility
The Way Home MT has consistently been approached by men in need of transitional housing. These men have been able to reside in The House Next Door facility in the midst of an ongoing remodeling. Since the fall of 2024, it has provided a safe place for 13 different men with 4 of them currently residing there.
4 bedrooms for clients
6 months to 1 year residence
Residents are required to be employed or seeking employment
Residents are required to pay rent
Residents are required to attend weekly (Bible-focused) meetings
Residents are required to meet with house staff (one-on-one) regularly
Residents are required to participate in food preparation
Residents are required to help maintain the facility, inside and outside
Residents who are in recovery are required to have been sober/clean for 30 days before becoming a resident
Residents who are in recovery must participate in a recovery program
The House Next Door is a sober-living facility but is not limited to just those in recovery
Initiative timeline:

Fall, 2024 – Transitional Facility Opened

Home for a Single-Mother Family
The Way Home MT (TWHMT) secured a loan and is purchasing this property. The current family are the second single-mother family to enjoy adequate and affordable stable housing here.
The Way Home MT Work Day
Matthew and Amber Anderson and sons, The Way Home MT board member, Lance Ivanish and Dawn Heibner helped in prime the property for the Bank Volunteer Day.
First Interstate Bank Volunteer Day
The staff from 1st Interstate Bank painted, roofed a shed and built fencing.
